In UpCentral, extensions are tied to teammates, meaning each extension is assigned to a specific user. To add an extension, you'll need to create a teammate account first.
Steps to Add an Extension:
- Log into your UpCentral Dashboard.
- Navigate to "People" → "Teammates" on the left navigation menu.
- Click "Add Teammate" and enter the required details.
- Assign an Extension — Once the teammate is created, an extension will be automatically assigned, or you can manually set one.
Each teammate has a unique extension, making internal call routing seamless.
